We sit on the first floor right on the Karuvanchal–Velladu road, looking out over green gardens and tall trees. It's the closest comfortable base for Palakkayam Thattu, Kuttippullu and Paithalmala, and our host Mr. Joseph is happy to arrange jeeps and local trips.
